PBSP is currently looking for a COORDINATOR for the Water Alliance Secretariat. This is our multisectoral platform for collaboration to help address issues relating to water security.
There are four clusters as part of this alliance focusing on the ff areas: 1) Water for waterless municipalities; 2) water demand management advocacy and training for companies and industries; 3) policy and governance reforms; and 4) action research and data analytics for decision making.
Each cluster has members and partners working on various projects.
The role of the secretariat is to support each of these clusters and to convene joint meetings and conferences throughout the year.
The Coordinator will have a one-year contract, with the option to renew. He/she will have two staff reporting to him/her.
Qualifications needed are as follows:
- substantial project management experience in water and/or environment-related work
- demonstrated capacity in dealing with government and private sector at various levels
- excellent communicator, with analytical and facilitation skills
- can lead a team and deliver results
