BRIGHT FUTURES START WITH BASIC NEEDS
PBSP and HERSHEY'S launch Year 4 of Nourishing Minds, a supplemental feeding project, in Manila Daycare Center V & VI, Brgy. 649, Baseco Compound. Around 180 daycare students will benefit from the supplemental feeding project.
Employee-volunteers from Hershey's also assisted the children in their seatworks and distributed hygiene kits.
"Most of our students come from impoverished families and lack
nutritious food. The supplemental feeding project of PBSP and Hershey's
really improved the health of the children. Since the project started in
2015, the children became more active and motivated to learn. Our
Daycare students even participated and won in contests," said Geraldine
Capones, Daycare Center worker.
