Last 15 January
2014, Citi Philippines donated one hundred ten (110) used computer units to the
15 public elementary schools of Apalit, Pampanga. The handover was held in San
Vicente Elementary School and units were received by the school’s respective
principals.
Ten employees
from Citi’s Quezon City and Makati City Offices headed by Mr. Jerry Lopez, Country
Technology Infrastructure Head and Mr. Obet Pangilinan, Wintel Operations Head,
spent time in some of the schools to help in setting up the units.
In July last year, reading corners were donated to the 15 public elementary schools by PLDT. The said computers will complement the earlier donation to help improve the learning environment of the children of Apalit.
